I had no idea this was a thing at all until Dragonkitty found out about it on Groupon (which is a great site, by the way. As long as you don’t need their customer service; which is terrible.)
Anyway, we had the pleasure of attending the symphony last night at the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. And let me just say, this is the real deal. Fully composed symphonic suites of almost every single Zelda game performed by a live symphony orchestra. The experience is augmented by a video that plays in tandem with each symphony to tell the story of that movement. All done with Nintendo’s blessing. The whole thing was pretty breathtaking and it comes highly recommended for any Zelda fan. I have to admit the only disappointment I had was the lack of attention to the BEST ZELDA GAME EVER….Adventure of Link. But they covered all of those other ones pretty well.
There will be another performance here in Phoenix tonight, but then they move on to Atlanta, GA.

Come for the music, stay for the cosplayers in the audience
