This is something fun that I’ve had in my favorites for a few months; a FREE MMO strategy board game. It’s very simple, and I think that is where its beauty lies.

You are presented a massive grid, many squares are occupied and will have colors (or custom images) in them, others will be blank. When you sign up, you will be given a number of “turns” and then accumulate more “turns” by the hour, use your turns by clicking on any unoccupied squares. Depending on how many squares you own that are in proximity to the empty square you chose, there is a percentage chance that you will capture adjacent squares for free, or neutralize any that are occupied by somebody else.

Another factor to consider is that by having more squares under your control, you are given more turns per hour than players who have less.

You can even email the creator a 25×25 .gif image and use that as your icon for spaces you control…Pending approval, of course. There will be no goatse army. I’m looking at you, goons.
