Another World of Warcraft post this week as more and more information is getting released for Cataclysm, I figure this is something everyone should know about.

Wow Heroes is a wonderful site that quickly and easily pulls WoW Armory data for characters and guilds.

Yes, I know the WoW Armory already does that, hold on a second.

Wow Heroes takes all that data, chews it up, and spits it back out for you in a pleasant-looking interface that tells you specifically what all of what you could already see, actually means.

For instance, your items may have a GearScore according to some other UI mods. That doesn’t tell you anything about what your enchantments and gems do to improve your potential. WoW Heroes does. In fact, it rates all possible enchantments for each piece of your gear on a 0-15 scale according to your spec. If you are using the wrong enchantment entirely, you’ll probably get a 0 on that piece. If you’re using a PVP enchant, maybe a 12 since it’s not worthless, but the best enchant you can have for that piece and your spec will add a 15 to your score.

Your score is then taken and analyzed against the difficulty for all of the endgame content, and a handy bar is shown to you at the very top of the screen. Green is easy, Yellow is ideal, Red means you probably aren’t ready yet.

You can also do a quick search of an entire guild and see what endgame content is best suited to each person.
