With the economy as crappy as it is right now, should any of us decide to make a trip to Las Vegas, or even just the closest reservation Casino, we’ll want to make sure we’re doing everything right. Nothing can cost more money than playing a gambling game incorrectly, right?
Enter The Wizard of Odds, whether you play Blackjack, Baccarat, or Bingo; or if your favorite game of poker is played with Three cards, Seven cards, or a Video Screen, The Wizard knows your game–and how to maximize your odds of winning.
You can start by looking at some basic information, I personally enjoy their 10 Commandments of Gambling, either for actual good advice or just a good chuckle. Also, their House Edge article explains how much the casino expects to make on every $1 wagered and why…showing clearly what games you can generally expect to lose less playing.
When you’re done there, you can find your favorite game and practice. All In Hold’em, the new table-game style Texas Hold’em is my new favorite, but you can also play Blackjack, Craps, Three Card Poker, and Slots as well. Most of the pages have links that go straight to the strategy and math analysis for that game as well.
The Game Info & Strategies menu shows precise mathematical analysis of almost every game found in a casino, and can show you clearly the best strategy to execute in order to maximize your returns. They also have a great section about Online Gambling if that is your thing, but plenty of links for playing for free fun as well.
This is a very awesome site, take a look if you ever plan to place a bet on pretty much anything. The more you know, the less you’ll be likely to lose!
